.:Guidelines and Information - Artwork is for personal use only and not for publication and/or profit.  If you're looking to commission something for publication, I can do that but be aware that a higher fee may apply.  I may post the artwork in my gallery, portfolio or anything else I see fit unless the client and I work out an arrangement to keep the art private. - I reserve the right to turn down any commission idea for whatever reason. - Commission prices are quoted on a case-by-case basis and are determined by things such as number of characters, difficulty, backgrounds, situations, and so on.  In other words the more complicated your idea is, the higher the price is likely to be.  I'll draw almost anything, as long as you've got the jingle. - Payments are usually made via PayPal and are non-refundable.  If you prefer to pay with another method I'll work with you as best I can, but keep in mind that it might change the commission process.  I'm a toy geek so I also do art for figures I might want.  Unless it's for Smurfs, in which case you'd best look for another artist. - Here's how the process usually works:  Contact me with your commission idea and I'll respond with a price quote.  After the price is agreed upon a downpayment of 50% is due before I start any work.  After that is received I'll start on the pencils and email you the scan.  If there are any changes to be made, this is where that happens.  Keep in mind if changes are drastic (I have to start a brand new sketch, for example) an addition fee may apply, so it's important to let me know if you have any specific details in mind.  If you don't tell me, I'll assume it's up to me to decide what to draw.  After changes are made and approved (or if the sketch is fine as-is) the rest of the payment is due.  After I receive that I'll work on the inks and colors and you'll receive a high-resolution copy of your art.  Full-color prints and the original lineart of your commission are also available for an extra fee. - If you have a specific deadline, PLEASE let me know in advance.  I can't stress that enough. - Read all that goobledy-gook and you still want a commission?  Shoot me an email to silas.zee@gmail.com (you can use the "Contact Me" button) with the word "Commission" in the subject line and we'll get started!  ^_^ Web site contents © Copyright Silas Zee 2010, All rights reserved.
