Craving more Eighty Six I started picking up the light novels and boy-oh-boy am I hooked more than ever. I thought the half dozen books I purchased would occupy me for a month or two but I ended up charging through them over three days (staying up well past my bedtime during more than one work night).

I love all the characters and the new-to-me character I dig the most is Lerche. Trying to be as free from spoilers as I can, I backlit this pic to emphasize her spooky nature. I emphasized her eyes for the same reason. I changed the pose after inking it to her military salute as not to blatantly copy the novel illustrations quite so much. ^_^;
