I absolutely loved my 2018 Mustang but had to part with her earlier this year. It broke my heart to say goodbye but she had some misfiring cylinders that no one could figure out how to fix. T_T

I started this new version of my OC Mai soon after getting that car but, like so many of my other WIPs, would keep slowly tinkering with the sketch or forget about it completely after a new idea would pop into my head. Lately there have been some threads about OCs that I want to post in but my original take on Mai makes me wince a little. ^_^; So I spent the last week or so to finally finish this new version of her up!

Even though I'm in a Toyota now, my original character Mai will always be a blue Mustang. I traced a good bit of the car mode image though I tweaked some details trying to match Mai's robot form. Most of the Mustang parts in said robot mode were drawn freehand, though I fudged a lot of the proportions to get the silhouette I had in mind. Mai's "transformation" and color scheme is pretty much the same as my 2007 design, I just jazzed up the details. I had a lot of fun creating her tech spec and the "hydraulic impact drivers" are the gold segmented details I've drawn into her design. Giving her "hair" was my bit change and I'm really happy with how that turned out!
