I drew this after seeing the first Iron Man movie. I'm not
fashion nut by any means, but I know what I like. And I thought
this dress was absolutely gorgeous.
I actually had this piece of lineart sitting on my hard drive for quite
some time before I got up the balls to color it. I wasn't really
sure how I would replicate the shades and tones of the fabric they used
in the movie (gotta love Hollywood lighting, eh?). I was about to
give up and leave it as-is, but I was in love with how the inks came
out that I had to try anyways. The colors aren't the best, but do
give off a nice satin-like glow on the highlights that I'm still happy
with. ^_^
