I've
got a lot of favorites in the new My Little Pony "Friendship is Magic"
show, but I have to say Rarity ranks top by a fabulous nose in my book.
So drawing a human counterpart was only a matter of time. :3
I was planning on drawing her in a quintessential gown, but after
watching the episode "Suited for Success" I thought of drawing her as a
high-class working girl (her glasses put that idea over the top
^___________^). Originally I had her in a pencil skirt
until I had the idea to put her in a pants suit. I liked the
silhouette of the flared bottoms, in a way mimicking her pony hooves.
I've got an evening gown piece planned down the road, but right
now I'm really happy with how this looks in the meantime. ^_^
