Silas Fact: Sailor Moon S is my favorite Sailor Moon movie.
And the DVD cover art is coincidentally one of my favorite pieces
of Sailor Moon art. So the other night I thought I'd do a little
homage to it. Since I didn't want to downright copy the cover I
tried to not look at the real thing as much as possible. It
actually took me a few passes to get a rough pose that I like but after
that the whole thing kinda took off on its own. The colors
weren't as tough as I thought they'd be. Maybe I should use
negative space to shade more often, huh? ^_^
