I
filled in some big holes in my Victory collection at TFcon Chicago this
past weekend so I obviously had a hankering to draw some Victory
Ladies. At first I was going to sketch a design based on the toys
I bought when I remembered that Star Saber is one of those characters
who I keep starting but never see through to the end.
That seemed to light a fire under my ass because I figured this out and
had her inked and colored relatively fast! Other than the
shoulder armor, my biggest issue was what to do with her hair. I
tried a bunch of fancy styles but they were getting just too
complicated. In the end Star Saber's 'do is pretty much Optimus
Prima but black hair instead of blond. It's a cop-out, yeah, but
I'm happy with it. XD
