Suki of Kyoshi

A
large part of my "popularity" (and grief) on Deviantart is due to my
fanart from Avatar: The Last Airbender. I don't really like the
show, but I thought the character Suki was really cool-looking so I
drew quite a bit of art based on the Kyoshi Warrior outfit design.
I drew this piece as an update of that fanart, tweaking the
design to fit my own tastes. I segmented the body armor so it
would look a little more high-tech and that she could have more torso
movement while she's jumping around and fighting. I trashed the
original sketch because I didn't think the pose showed off the outfit
enough. After the colors were done, I added some black matte bars
to add to the contrast of the overall piece. ^_^
